Hognose Eyecaps

A couple weeks ago my hognose had a bad shed (first shed with him, I've learned from my mistakes). Like really bad. However I helped him as best I could with baths, and whatnot and I thought he got most of it off since I found a lot of shredded snake skin in his enclosure and his body looked clear of any old skin, however I'm not sure one of his eyecaps came off. His left eye looks clear in the light, however his right eye looks somewhat cloudy in light. I'm not quite sure what I should do.

Your picture link seems to be a private Google user account link, that's not going to work. You need to use an image sharing site and post the direct image link. (Will end in the file type, like .jpeg or .bmp or whichever extention)

Re: Hognose Eyecaps

I'm not sure if an eyecap is stuck on him though. I don't want to go trying to remove and stuck eyecap that doesn't exist.

If one eye is clear and the other is cloudy in the light, and they were clear before he was in blue, then it's a stuck cap right? It's either that or cataracts...

When one of my guy's gets stuck in shed I soak them in warm water for a solid hour... I have not had an eye cap get so stuck that it would not come off with a little water and some rubbing... If its really, really stuck you might have to take it to a vet if you feel uncomfortable getting off yourself...
