Just to echo what Mink was saying, there used to be a guy who ran Bali Reptile Rescue and posted regularly on another forum. He said he'd watch retics hunting monkeys in the forest canopy in broad daylight. He also said that most of the biggest retics they saw were in daylight hours, I suppose you could put this down to there's not a lot of predators would take on a snake that big, so they felt safe moving around in the day. Or their prey items are more active during these hours and therefore easier to find
