Re: New!
I am hoping there is a VBB, but I doubt it. Or another beauty snake.

Re: New!
Not a Vietnamese either.
Hint: In the wild they eat bats.

Re: New!
Haha, thanks! Only have had them 1 day, but so far they are pretty neat. The yearling male cave dweller peeks at me from his hide, but the other 2 are completely hidden for now lol. Hopefully all eat well next week when I offer their 1st meal with me. =)

Re: New!
Great looking snakes Mink. Love all three of them. Are the Mexican gophers similar to the North American species? I did a quick google search, but didn't turn up too much.

Re: New!
From my understanding they aren't even really a gopher or a pine, but their own sub species. They can get pretty large though. The 1st captive female was 8 feet! Most stay between 5-6 feet though. =)

Re: New!
Wow, sounds like a cool species. Can't wait to see it grow and hear your experience with it. Maybe one day I'll get one. I'm a sucker for pits.

Re: New!
Yeah, I found it by accident and just had to have it lol. The markings really sold it for me. I will say that there seems to be an intelligence in it's eyes that I don't see in my cape gopher. Also, for being so young, it's pretty chill. The cave dwellers came out gaping and tagging like crazy, but the Mexican lined came out super chill and so far hasn't offered so much as a mean look lol. I really hope I can find a female for him. Fingers crossed!
