Ordered me a BEL ball python today!

Ya I was going to hold out for the show coming in a couple of weeks but I was beginning to think I couldn't walk it with my sciatica and back problems...
I was real happy ordering George from a breeder so I thought I try again... I mean they have 15 positive reviews with these little ones...
I am not completely unhappy with her and I am already growing fond of her but a paper white snake with bright blue eyes she is not! at least not yet!
She came with no info... No date of birth, no data on feeding... Its now like pulling teeth to get them to answer my questions... PR! Whats that? Grrrrrr

I see it too. I don't know much in terms of bp morphs but thats not a bright white snake.

I actually really like her. The super pale markings are really neat. But I fully understand your position about it. You payed for something and didn't gwt it. But who knows, she could very well loose the pattern completely and end up pure white with silver eyes (i actually really love her eyes to be honest. The bringht blues are nice, but those faded silver get me!)

She's a very pretty snake either way and Crystal is a great name for her. I understand your disappointed of course but she's still a keeper in my book.

I guess we're lucky in the uk because any breeder / store is no more than a few hours drive away so if we really want something we can go and see it in person usually.

I haven't been brave enough to by online or from a breeder yet but that may be about to change!

Yesterday she seemed a little lethargic to me... I literally, slightly, shook her in my hand to see if she had enough strength to hold on... She did... This is my first ball python so I am unfamiliar with their personality... This morning she is all over the cage so I know she is ok... I just wish they would get back to me on her age and feeding habits... It's like pulling teeth with these people...

Is it normal for her to bob her head up and down when she lifts the front 1/3 of her body up? Could this be her nature, youth, or a sign of something else?

I kind of like her myself. Sure she's not paper white but I like that bit of pink to her.

Not the first time I have heard not so great things about XYZ.

She's still a fantastic looking animal. I bet she is about 2.5 - 3 months old. Next time you want a ball python consider buying from a pioneer in bp breeding. Ok... They called and reassured me that she will turn white and they will take her back in two months if I'm not happy with her... She is 4 weeks old ... He wanted a head shot in the sun; thought maybe all i'm seeing is pupil and no iris.. I still don't see any blue...

I'm seeing some blue, but it's a very pale washed out blue. But that's only the lighter areas of her eyes. The other part looks like a charcoal color.
