First of all...Jampea is not dwarf. It's a locale. On average, they're still around 14', with MANY being much bigger. Second...just because a snake is smaller doesn't mean you're out of danger-ESPECIALLY with retics. A male during breeding season will tear you up, just because. A 7ft male can do more damage than an 18 ft female, so that's something to think about. Also, have you ever been around them? Held them? Maybe you should go play with them first...they're nothing like corns..or really any snake, for that matter xD

retic temperaments may be a little more unpredictable than bci's, but wouldn't a full grown bci be more dangerous than a full grown super super dwarf retic because of size alone? BCI's get thick as hell.

Re: does any know
I dont personally think a BCI compares with the beauty of a retic, although I like both. To the OP , if small size is mandatory you may want to reconsider on a dwarf. He could always be a large dwarf. Just remember, even midgets can be tall midget or short ones ... :-P
A Male high % SD is your best bet.... or a dwarf burm instead of retic

Re: does any know
Hey there,
Yeah...what you would want in the retics are the SD's.
The reason I bring up Kristopher is his adults are the nicest looking I've seen and, he's very knowledgable on the species. I believe he said his average 6/8 feet as adults.
Cheers,
D
