My new red tail
I just got this little guy yesterday. still havent came up with a name
and today i fed him
this is how i have the tank right now with a heating pad anytips on what i need?
what you guys think? this is my first snake

He's cute, congrats on the new addition! You should definitely post more pictures when you can.
For the enclosure maybe try to get a straight shot of the whole tank so that we have a better idea of what it looks like. Also how many gallons is the tank?
As for a name....kind of random but a different: Victimus. :P

Thanks!! i appreciate the love, and i def will he's hiding right now but ill make sure to post more pictures. its like a 15 gallon :/ what size do you reccomend cause i know hes gonna get way bigger. I actually like that name (:

I'm no expert on boas so I'm not sure about the size of the tank. But I know there are other people on here that will help you 
As for humidity the easiest thing to do is to simply spray the tank daily if needed. If you have a mesh lid on his tank putting a towel over top can improve the humidity greatly as it isn't just escaping. A large water dish can also help with humidity too.
Well if you like it, feel free to use it! I think it's quite suiting

How are you measuring temperature and humidity ? You need to monitor those and make sure they are correct.

Honestly im new with reptiles i just have a heating pad thats set to like 76-82f on half of the tank, can you help me with the humidity?

cover the top screen with aluminum foil and tape and get a digital temp/humidity gauge to measure the humidity with .. they need realitivly high humidity levels around 60-70% sometimes 80's if shedding.. the tank could be a little warmer too.  also switch out that aspen for some eco-earth, i use eco-earth mixed with forest floor moist wood chips.. this helps hold humidity but also doesn't keep my tank soaked like straight soil does sometimes soil it hold humidity better.. just make sure the cage isn't wet or he can develop scale rot or a Resp. Infection.

a 15 gal isn't horrible but he will need to be changed pretty quickly.... i started mine off in a 40 gallon and they can stay in those for a while.. but these guys need a custom enclosure that is about 6ft long, 3ft deep and 2-3 ft tall.. i would start building his enclosure if you can.. but if you can't start right away he can stay in a 40 for quite some time.. atleast until hes about 4 ft i wanna say. my tank is 3ft long so mine has plenty of room and she is just over 3ft in length ( im starting her tank very soon )
Edit - he also looks like a common BCI to me as well

thanks for the tips he loves the hide rock, and also the water dish is big enough for him, im gonna post more pictures of him later

I wouldn't say a BCI needs a 6 foot enclosure. Especially a male which I'm assuming he is. A 4 by 3 by 2 is what I would use for an adult.
So where are the pics I'm interested in seeing his tail, looks really red an unique

I think a 15 g is fine for a baby. Boas like to feel safe and secure. providing a huge cage for a smaller boa isn't always best unless you put a bunch of hiding places in there.
as an adult a 4 foot cage would work fine. (as above) especially since he is a male congrats on your new baby

This is very solid advice. I have a six foot female in a 4'x2'x2'.
What are the dimensions of your tank?
