Re: Help!
First off that snakes pattern is wicked. Can I get more pictures of his left side?
As for changes you should get some fake plant or hides on each end of the enclosure.

Re: Help!
You bought a snake and forgot what kind it was in the same day? I hope your memory improves as time goes on, as this animal's well-being depends on it.
That said, it looks like a healthy, and beautiful common BCI (Boa constrictor imperator).

Re: Help!
Not to insult you here but knowing how to look after the snake is best learned before you bring it home. Unless you live in a Colombian jungle your snake need a much different environment that your house will provide. Learning this the hard way through bad sheds and respiratory infections is not good for your snake or your enjoyment of it when it is sick or cranky all the time. Read up (google) bci care and housing asap. Follow it as they are not just suggestions. Ask questions here and please follow the advice given.
Ok for starters get 2 plastic hides barely big enough for the snake to squeeze into. Put one over the heat matt and the other on the cool area of the tank. Ensure the humidity is over 60% by misting or putting a humidifier in the room. Cover the back 3 sides of the tank to give the snake some cover or it will never leave the hides. Feed it dead rats not muce. And most of all enjoy it. But if it has a bad shed or bubbles from the mouth ect. chances are your husbandry is off so check everything. Good luck.
