Im totally freaking out, Possible mites?

Okay so I got home an hour ago and I ate and then checked on the gtp as well as the other repts. As im looking at the gtp i see this black thing moving on the snake so ofcourse i freak out and im frantically looking for tweezers or something to get it and by the time i locate the tweezers i look back and its gone. So ofcourse im freaking out as its a new snake and anything is possible. Should I put itin a deli cup with soaked paper towels? And what do i do with the pvc and fake vine? throw them out? Im panicking here. And now im thinking what if its only shedding cause of mites? I am seriouslly panicking and because now im trying to google if mites will go after my cat.. (really panicking)

Easy man, its going to be ok.

You only have a few snakes, so it should be pretty easy to treat them all. Just get yourself some NIX or PAM and follow the directions.

And no, they wont spread to your cat. Reptile or snake mites dont like mammals much.
