So with my new computer and its webcam I have decided to do weekly or even daily updates on my channel.
Anyway I did a profile on Emily, my female chinese water dragon. I never handle her much because she doesnt like it. Anyway the video explains her better than I can write.
Nice Water dragon and video. When you do another video if you could i love to see her set up.
I cant move the camera anywhere, but if you look behind me its the giant green closet thing. It would be easier to move the enclosure (which i may do anyway as its cluttersome in the kitchen)
Or pictures would work to. I just love seeing the different set up people come up with for their reptiles.
Ive been without a camera for an age, i was actually stoked when I got this web cam. I will probably move it over by the computer and just move the cam so you can see the whole thing. Essentially my husbands shop needed to get rid of a coat closet so he dismantled it, and here it is, though we sealed it and used quick crete as a floor because I was afraid i couldnt seal the floor as well. It got a nice green coat on it. The hardest thing to build was the plexi glass doors. Ugh. I hate messing with plexi glass.

I so no what your saying. I always have to have someone else cut it or it looks like a 5 year old did it. I never been good at cut straight line.

Plexi is a bit of a pain. I use a straight edge and a razor. The trick is to score it at least 4-5 times before you try and snap it, This will give you the best chance at a clean cut.

dang. they told us only score it one good time. this may have been my problem
I used to work with the stuff all the time. Scoring it once will almost never result in a decent break. Even if you use a lot of force that score line is still likely to split.

Mine ended up looking like some sort of demonic pants zipper where it was all jagged, so that goes on the hinge side.
Can you use an actual glass cutter with plexi to score it?
No..They make special cutters for plexi but all in all just use a standard utility knife. A glass cutter cuts to fine of a line you need something with a little more umph than that.
