Potential new snake owner

Hi all!
Samantha here. I'm currently a sophomore enrolled at the University of Alabama.

I had a Greek Tortoise for almost 13 years and unfortunately he died a few months ago. He had a pretty rough respiratory infection that turned into pneumonia.

Now, I'm considering getting a snake. Figured I would join a forum to learn some things about the maintenance and learn a lot before getting more seriously involved.

Thanks! I'm excited to start learning.

Welcome to the forum, what sorts of things are you looking for in a snake? Can you house it where you are? Some places dont allow snakes at all

Well done on doing your research BEFORE buying the animal

Re: Potential new snake owner

Thanks everyone!
Most places are pretty lenient about pets, my main concern would be keeping the humidity right.
