Snake too fat?

I'm really just wondering if my snake's too fat- that's all. She's four months old and out of all the snakes i've "snake sat" / taken care of- I have seen very few with an appetite like her's . . . she's quite greedy. Since she is four months old and not a hatchling anymore I only feed her between every 7-9 days. Not to mention if I go longer she get's sort of moody and goes into her hunting mode, searching the cage like crazy.
It's not like she's a small snake though, she's actually really long (finally). Anyways, I've got some pictures to help out though since words can only do so much. These are both recent (within the last 3 days). Hope I did this right, i'm still new
One is with her outside peeping at the neighbors from behind a little brick wall and the second is her inside of her favorite hide. If you look closely though, at the one where she is in the hide you can kinda see fat rolls on her body lol. I zoomed in on that picture though to make it easier to spot.

Re: Snake too fat?

You should feed her every 5-7 days until she is a year old. Seven days would be best.

Re: Snake too fat?

Okay, I found two more. That's what she feeds on and that is a rat pup, not a mouse. The other picture, was just her climbing my mother's random wall art. Both of them being recently taken within the last week

Re: Snake too fat?

Ball Pythons are heavy bodied snakes.

A sign of a snake being over-weight would be if you can always see the space between their scales.

That snake looks fine..

Looks healthy to me too. Just stay to the weekly feeding schedule you are using. Beautiful genetic stripe btw.
