Talking New Axolotl

Got to snag some pics this morning with my mom's phone, not the best quality but you get to see the little darling. I don't have a name for her yet. The guy who sold her to me believes its a female, but she is still a little to young to tell. Getting supplies for her today, sand, plants, rocks and hides. And some food. Anyways, enjoy some pictures of her, feel free to give some name suggestions!

Re: New Axolotl

These are really cool. I remember when the guy teaching our "big snake" class was giving some of these away. That was my first look at them in person. They were a trip then and they are now.

How much space do they require?

Re: New Axolotl

One adult is fine in a ten gallon, but they are rather dirty so a larger tank is nicer. I have my girl in a 14 gallon.
