Finally made a jump into Geckos!

We had our local expo today and I was vending with my clay stuff, made almost 300 dollars and pretty much sold out, also came home with this beautiful little girl (at least we think its a girl, macro shots show no pores)

She was born in September, the 28th and was listed as a Striped Garg, don't really know what to expect from her color wise but she couldn't get any less cute!

Thanks guys, Alessia the adult I saw was about 6-7 inches maybe I'm really bad at gauging size, wasn't to worried since its not really an issue. For diet, I was told mainly just CGD but then said some mushed banana for a treat and some odd insects (going to try her with my baby roaches) also for a once in a while thing, thats if she likes them. My fiancee has wanted a gecko for about 3 years so she is more his then mine.

Chris, I'm hoping she will get redder as the breeder said she might but honestly I love her the way she is!

Really cool pictures. The eyes on that gecko are mesmerizing. You said you hope she gets redder, but I think she looks perfect. Sexy burnt rustic look, and stone cold eyes. This creature is eye candy. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you H3H, you are right, more or less just hoping if she has to change that she gets redder hehe but the stark grey/yellow/rust contrast is what drew me to her. Can't wait till I can take more pictures haha!

Very awesome! Have you seen her fired up yet? FWIW, Gargs weigh between 60 grams to 80 grams as adults.

Charis, I think I have but i'm not totally sure, she getting some black speckling under the orange and the grey base gets darker.

Yeah, I'd say she is at least somewhat fired in those. It depends on the individual gecko how wide their range is but Gargs usually have quite a wide range of colors from their lowest to the brightest/darkest they can get.

I'll keep an eye on her then, trying to take a picture of a gecko alone is like trying to photograph a leaf in a tornado :|

LOL! Yes, it is! That is a very good description. I have a retic Gargoyle and a striped. The nice thing about the striped ones is that they still have their colored stripes visible even completely fired down. This is what my retic looks like completely fired down.

Then this is an old one of her totally fired up, she gets more of a pink undertone now but I don't have any good new ones of her totally fired.
