Re: Growing Like a Weed
Tank is a snapping turtle. I got a chance to see him during a presentation Steve gave at one of our Herp society meetings. I am still impressed with how tame he is. Seeing is believing.

I remember seeing a picture of tank curled up in his daughter's bed with her and being amazed.
Feel like he should have Charlotte over him spinning a web saying "SOME TURTLE".

Re: Growing Like a Weed
Handsome chap. Tame is not usually a word one sees applied to a snapper.

Tank went on the scale yesterday and is now 19.02 lbs.
He is getting to be such a big boy.

Re: Growing Like a Weed
Here's a photo of Tank trying to decide whether to come out and go to bed or not. Shortly after this shot he went back into his water.
Typical kid, he's tired but refuses to go to bed.
Sorry it isn't a better photo.
I couldn't be happier with Tank. He is the same everyday. Calm, cool and collected. He is so easy to work with.
