How I feel

This is how I feel when I wake up on Monday, or after my favorite sports team loses to that annoying person who never shuts up about their team winning.

Re: How I feel

Yeeeeeeaaaaaars ago, I had to go to Columbus for two weeks of job training. A guy at a bar told me of his life of constant flux. According to him...
  • You are born and raised to hate the Pittsburgh Steelers.
  • The Cleveland Browns aren't the same team after the whole Baltimore thing.
  • However, one can under no circumstances root for Baltimore.
and finally...
  • Not even the people that live in Cincinnati like the Bengals.
Does this relate to your misery???

All of that is 100% correct. Except, I grew up in a small town in south-eastern Indiana, we were in the tri-state of Cincinnati and got ALL the backwash idiots from their. So we had all these kids that rooted for the Bengals because of all their players getting arrested, they thought that made them even cooler.

You are exactly correct... I have grown up a Browns fan and they suck, year after year after year... It hurts!

Don't feel so bad. I'm a Cubs fan. Have been since I was a wee little lad and was at a Reds game and Sammy Sosa gave me a ball. Alas, 20 years later, we still haven't won a championship and I'm wondering if I'll be alive when they do!

Re: How I feel

Indians last won the series in 1948... So, you have 40 years on the Cubs :P
But, in general terms, yes they are in the same boat of a ridiculously long series drought.

Re: How I feel

As a life long resident of the city the Pirates call home, I feel the pain of this thread! My friend has season tickets and we go a lot. The best part of the game is the Pierogi Race and the nachos.
