Thinking of a trade.

The local pet store by my house will trade snake for snake. They take very good care of their reptiles and all the other animals they have. I have my two California kings that I love but Im thinking of getting back into pythons or boas. I have had RTB's and ball pythons and I'm thinking of trading my kings for an adult BP or RTB. They don't have much of a selection but they do have very healthy reptiles. Opinions??

Personally I would see what they have and see what I could get the best deal on. I would also have a hard time parting with any of my snakes, so a lot of it will be up to you on what you want more and if you are okay with parting with your snakes.

Yeah, I've had many snakes over the years, some I had to re home due to military service and some I held onto but I'm okay with parting with them now. I do form attachments to them but I really miss having the bigger snakes. My sons old enough now to where my wife won't shoot me for getting a Boa, and I love the "attitude" that comes along with the bigger species. (not the giants but bigger than kings).

I wouldn't trade your kings! Just buy the boa or python

Yeah, that's an option too, just tight financially with school and the baby... Not sure if three snakes is a smart decision for me OR the snakes... Don't want to get a new snake and not be able to give it what it needs you know?
