Lighting/heating question

So my little girl isn't fond of her daytime heat lamp. The temps are great but she stays hidden on the cool side as long as the day time lamp is on. As soon as I turn her night time moonglow heat lamp on (even if I do so during the day) she migrates toward the heat and basks in it. Both lamps maintain a daytime temperature of 92 on the warm side and 77 on the cool side during the day and 86 warm and 71 cool at night. My question is:

Is the nighttime heat lamp ok for all day/night use? She just doesn't seem to care for the other lamp. So would it be ok to eliminate it all together?

Yes i used a nighttime lamp during the day with no problems , and then used a LED light to light the cage. It could be the snake feels to exposed in the light , so you can just have no light or a very small dim light . For lighting i use a very small LED light thats maybe 3 watts. you may add some more cover to the cage , like leafy vines.

pretty much my set ups as well. Moon glow for heat (25 watt keeps my enclosures with a perfect gradient), 2 small LED lights (to enhance viewing, but i rarely turn on) and lots of cover in addition to the hides. My guys seem to "like" the set up...

Keep in mind , at least for my boas and pythons , they usually only hit the warm side after meals for a few days , then maybe in the morning or afternoon to bask but most of the time they are on the cool side.
