Outside Enclosure

Has anyone had any luck with an outside enclosure for a Savannah monitor?

By outside I mean an 8'/4/'4' or 10'/5'/5' enclosure that is insulated and is not actually sitting on the ground it would not have a way to escape at all. and this enclosure instead of being in a room or a garage it is in a private patio or backyard it would have a gazebo style tarp over top to keep rain from destroying the outside.

I was wondering about this because if I build one I may move in 3 or 4 years and I would not be able to move the enclosure out of a room without taking it completely apart because it wouldn't fit through a door. if it were outside or in a garage that would solve the moving problem.

Re: Outside Enclosure

I would only try it in the warmer states...

It would be a risky gamble in the northern states.

Re: Outside Enclosure

In Oregon the weather is not hot or cold, average high in summer is like 90 to 95 and low in the winter at night is like 30. so I will just find a place with a garage.
