eating bedding?!? help!

I just pulled out my boa and he has a mouthful of cocofiber. Hes tryinh to spit it out but cant and his mouth cant close. Can anyone tell me how to get it out?!?

I brought him outside to let him cruse around in the yard for a few minutes to see if he will be able to spit some more out. i have twesers but id have to force his mouth open wide and hold him still.

Try putting him in the bath tub and letting the water rinse out the substrate. Did you feed him on the coco fiber? I have heard of the scent from prey items staying on coco fiber and triggering a feeding response to that area. I use repti-bark for my baby boa. still holds humidity decently and aesthetically it looks good. That is my two cents hope it helps.

yup, in the bath. putt him in the water will make him open and close his mouth more, and when he does, it floats out!
