Polls
We should come up with some new and interesting polls to post in that section. I'll start!
What is the highest number of snakes you have owned at one time?
1-5
6-20
21-39
40-59
60+
(I can't think of any more right now, but i will later lol)

Re: Polls
3 breeding seasons ago, I had over 400 babies in the house at once. Does that count?

Thamnophis have large litters, so it don't take a lot of moms to produce that many.
Never again though.. keeping all those hungry little mouths happy was tiring, Dorothy and I had to work in shifts to keep up.
I will dig out some pics, we had feeding boxes scattered everywhere.

Re: Polls
I had up to 13 at one time...the majority of them being wc rescues that I found good homes for after I got them in better condition and eating regularly.
Currently I have 11, about half are rescues. All are my pets.

Pretty much lol I still have 2 more long time definite animals I've been wanting for years to get and a couple of more definite animals that I've recently started to really want.
When I started keeping again, all I wanted was a royal and a burm. That one burm turned into two...one for me and one for the boyfriend. Then I decided to get the kids a royal (these are their animals but until they can prove to me that they can afford to take care of them on a consistent basis, these animals stay with me and I claim them). So there's 5.
Then I ran across a couple of rescues that needed a new home. These were the two dumerils. The boyfriend had been drooling over the BRB's for a couple of months so I got him one for Christmas. I received some extra money for Christmas and wanted another snake. I was actually missing having a king and a red tail since I'd had them before, so I got one of each. lol Then I heard about a special needs snake, so I offered for it. I'll be getting her once I get moved and settled. Lastly I ran across the carpet needing a new home, so I have her. That brings my total to 11 and I still haven't gotten the two I've been wanting for years! I'll get them this year though and hopefully a couple more
I have a feeling that before this year is out, my reptile count will be double what it is now
I can't stop myself! I have such a soft spot for rescues and animals that need rehoming.
