Oh be 'cheeky', Trent! Actually, it doesn't seem correct for that one either, though it definitely is a Brachy. (And to answer your Q, BB, I'm not quite sure -- just that coloring does not fit for smithii.)
I assume your Ambly has vertical walls as well? (Can't really tell from the pic.)

BB, Brachypelma is an entire genus. It's possible the seller didn't know any better. One of the reasons I dislike "common names".

awesome! your mexican red knee is really dark! Ours is more brown. I need to post some updated spider pics. We were also thinking of starting a dubia colony.

The red knee is fine. It's the pink rump you have to worry about.
