Caiman Lizard

I just thought I'd share a poorly taken cell phone picture of a baby red headed caiman lizard at my favorite reptile store.

I don't think so. But there's a decent chance that we've crossed paths at some point without knowing it! Haha

Re: Caiman Lizard

Unfortunately, Brady and Eli, there isn't much on them. They don't make very good pets. They are extremely expensive to buy and keep, and require HUGE enclosures that are both aquatic and arboreal. On top of that, they only eat snails, and getting them to eat in captivity is a burden and a half. Sadly, most parish once they reach the pet trade.

Re: Caiman Lizard

Honestly I find them to be terribly ugly. That doesn't stop me from wanting one, though. Hahahahaha.

They are kinda ugly... but in a good way, haha. Have you seen the HUGE ones they have at the Denver Zoo?
