Bubbles

Wee Bubba (2 year old P. brongersmai) was out for some play time tonight, so I snapped a couple of images. Enjoy

Totally paranoid, scrunched-up and ready to launch at the slightest movement during his 'chill before touching' time...

Still mildly paranoid and needing to dig under me for security...

Feeling more calm after a few minutes and willing to resurface and start exploring...

Calm posture after enjoying some free-roaming and finding his tub during his travels...

Re: Bubbles

34qt sterilite tub? They look familiar...
The blood looks sweet, wish I could get a thin python with the face of a blood, so cool.

Re: Bubbles

Quart? What the...oh, right - imperial measurement. Boy, that brings me back 30 years

Dunno 'bout quarts, but it is a Sterilite and it's over 38 Litres. That's his 3rd tub so far and he's probably only got another 3-4 months before he outgrows that one and gets upgraded again. Bloods prefer smaller quarters than a lot of other snakes - it makes them feel more secure.

They do have great faces, but you can often see the paranoia and distrust in their eyes, which can make them look a little intimidating if you're not used to it, lol.

If you *really* want the dimensions, I'll measure it for ya, but it's only a temporary thing which he'll out-grow in 3 or 4 more meals (he wolfs-down XL rats like there's no tomorrow).

Btw, congratulations! You're the first American I've seen using 'L'

Re: Bubbles

ha ha, I switch back and forth fairly easily. I understand why various ones are used. I personally prefer metric units, but just about everything over here is imperial. I can do the F to C conversion really quickly.
Don't worry about measuring it, I was just wondering if you knew off the top of your head.

Re: Bubbles

Top of my head? I'm old and it's starting to thin up there, so things like measurements evaporate without the insulation I used to have

That's my story and I'm stickin' to it like a Boa on a banister :P

Re: Bubbles

Bubble is looking good. I noticed he fatter than our forearm. Looks like he about the same size as my '09 female Borneo.
