Re: Feeding day pics!!
Sorry for the pic quality....had my ISO jacked up to 3200 since I don't want to use flash so they are grainy and not as sharp as I like. Those are my babies though!!!

Re: Feeding day pics!!
Thanks guys and yeah....Morpheus really struck hard and was squeezing so hard, he sqeezed the guts out of the poor thing, lol. Niobe bit the fuzzy in the belly first so when she started squeezing, hers did the same thing out of the belly, but I left those out. I've found they strike harder and squeeze longer when I leave the mice in the hot water for twice as long as the package says, that way I'm sure they are completely warm all the way through but not scalding hot.

Re: Feeding day pics!!
I just hit them with the laser thermometer and as long as they are around 99f when I take them out of the water, they seem to be the perfect mammal temp by the time I get them into the feeding tub!! So far, fast strikes each time!!
I have to say, I love Leto!! what a beauty!! I can't wait to see pics of him as an adult, may prompt me to go get a snow!! as long as it is differnt enough from a blizzard!!

Re: Feeding day pics!!
Thanks Snakefood, Leto is great! I love the blizzards and have been looking at them as well. Khuno is gorgeous. Most blizzards I have seen are solid white as adults and patternless. I believe the snows keep the pattern, but we shall see. Now Juno will look a lot like your Okeetee corn when an adult but without the nice thick black bands. Those black bands make the normal colors stand out so well!

Re: Feeding day pics!!
Yes, I really lucked out on Ananta (my Okeetee) she is stunning. Your normal is beautiful too, looks like he may have the more yellow background, which I love.
The Blizzards come in the pure white (whiteout) and also Lemon Peel ( where there is a nice yellow on thier heads and necks and ventrals) Khuno's dad is a whiteout and his mom is a lemon peel, so he could go either way, but I think he'll be a handsome boy, no matter what!!
