Re: New from NC
Welcome to the forum.
There is a show in Charlotte, NC Aug 6-7 and one in Raleigh, NC Sept 3-4 if they are not too far from you , there should be some good breeders out there, im hoping to be going to the one in Raleigh going to see if i can find me a nice Ball python.

Re: New from NC
BPs have been really all I've looked at...mostly Pet Shop ones....
but as i research more and more...I'm thinking of holding out for some kinda morph other then the normals i see at the pet stores...
right now i'm looking for proper enclosure or cage but all i'm finding are 24x12x12 or tall 24x12x24s Exo Terras
I read i need something like 36x12x12 for proper space for a young ball.

Re: New from NC
Balls don't actually need nearly as much space as you think, even in large spaces they rarely use more then 10% of it.

Re: New from NC
This is being sold at the pet shop right now....
Natural Terrarium Medium/Tall
60 x 45 x 60 cm / 24” x 18” x 24” (WxDxH)
Exo Terra : Natural Terrarium Medium / Advanced Reptile Habitat
or would it be better off i get a 24x18x18 used aquarium....i think its 15gal tank. and piece all the extras together....
I kinda want to get everything set up a few days prior to getting the him/her so i can have tempatures and humidity settled and right.

Re: New from NC
i have that tank and its going to be too high for a BP. You will be better getting a 15gal and get a good top for it so the heat and humidity will stay in.
