Re: Bp got out :(
as they are nocturnal, it maybe worth your while to get some normal plastic shopping bags and put them down along the edges of the room, so that you can hear the snake moving if the bp comes out of hiding, stay awake all night in the dark or just have very dim lights on, have a torch to hand.
then once the snake comes out and start moving along the edge of the room and comes across the bags, the bags will make a noise, immediately put the torch on and shine it in that area and hopefully you will get your snake back safe and sound

I heard someone once say lay lines of flour across the doorways of your house so if the snake changes rooms you can see the slither mark and know what room to look for it in. Never had to deal with an escaped snake so good luck

He was in a box in the closet. it is filled with all my pet stuff, this included several heat pads. and i was going to set out a heat pad the night i noticed him missing, but had second thoughts ( due to this not working at all with my corn snake that i never found). lol if i had got in there looking for a heat pad, i would have found that he got into the box through a hole i cut in the lid to put a screen cover there. i would have found him the same night if i had done the heat pad.
