Good separate feeding tub?
What's the easiest DIY feeding place? I was thinking just a plastic tupperware thing with newspaper. Also, is a separate feeding thingy-majig needed? I want my snakey to be as obedient and awesome as possible so that's why I want to has a separate place for food. Thanks ahead of time

Re: Good separate feeding tub?
There is no real need to a separate feeding tub, in most cases.
Why do you want to use one?

Re: Good separate feeding tub?
I'm assuming you don't want a feeding response when you open the terrarium, your main options are hook training and setting a specific day of the week as "feeding days".

Haha how do you delete a thread? :P I don't even need one it will just be an unneeded hassel, but I will take your advice because that's why I wanted to have the feeding place

Re: Good separate feeding tub?
Its all opinion based nothing has been proven. I mean really if you were take your snake out of its tank and place it in a tub to feed, would it not think every time you take it out its getting fed? same as feeding in viv. I use tubs in the viv or plates just because I use loose substrate.

Re: Good separate feeding tub?
You mentioned using newspaper as substrate so just feed in its home.

Re: Good separate feeding tub?
I was told to use a separate tank so that the snake associates the different location with food, but not when you just pick it up. And it is less messy because live rodents tend to use the bathroom while they're getting killed.
All in all it's a personal preference and whatever works best for you.
