Viperkeeper and Snakebyte TV
Anybody ever watch the Viperkeeper and Snakebyte TV on Youtube and what do you think of it?
Even though Snakebyte TV's Brian knows an awful lot about snakes and morph and breeding, the show seems so commercialized and staged.
The Viperkeeper is much more authentic and straight forward but sometimes I wonder if he takes the behavior of some snakes for granted and lets his guard down.
Any input?

Re: Viperkeeper and Snakebyte TV
I watch snakebytes TV not for authenticity, but to look at them fiddling with all the different snakes in a clean environment with good camera quality.
Il check out this new business tho.

Re: Viperkeeper and Snakebyte TV
The Viperkeeper is a private person who owns nothing but 'hot' snakes like King Cobras, Adders, Vipers, of course, Mambas, and several other highly poisonous snakes that I've never heard of.
He has been doing that for a long time and some of his animals are being requested by Zoos when they run out of a certain breed.

Oh, thats substantially less interesting for me then. Considering I have no interest in keeping hots. So its more like watching the discovery channel with a mild interest than it is participating my my pet snake hobbies.

Sorry to take this off-topic, but this is a pet peeve of mine. Poison is ingested. Venom is injected. I think you mean venomous snakes.
No disrespect intended, just wanted to inform you.

Re: Viperkeeper and Snakebyte TV
Snakebytes is sorta fine, but the fact that they coax snakes into biting them is terrible, it stresses the animals out, and risks injury...

Yeah this is how I feel about it. Its alright but the biting is annoying. Kind of gives snakes a bad name too.

Re: Viperkeeper and Snakebyte TV
I really like viperkeeper, not a huge fan of snake bites, bit I watch both,...... I prefer viperkeeper, I love the fact that he is so confident and sure of his ability of keeping hots.

Re: Viperkeeper and Snakebyte TV
I really enjoy Snakebytes.
It's goofy and staged, yes. But that is the complete point, enjoy it for what it is. There parts that are stupid (their lame little short stories, etc), but for the most part its pretty fun to watch.
Havent seen viperkeeper, Ill check it out!
