Bass fishing is awesome. Call me crazy tho i swear bass here in new york are a lot greener/less goldish than in florida!

And i think the first one is a small mouth homie. You can tell because the jaw line does not extend past the eye. You can see the difference between the first and second. No biggie, just sayin. Keep fishin!

I know there are bass in new york . But they are smallmouth bass instead of largemouth

Those fish are what I consider the perfect size to be eaten...yum yum. I used to fish as a child ALL THE TIME every weekend in a catfish pond. Chicken livers drove those fish crazy. They also tasted great. Happy fishing if/when you go again.
