Re: Weirdest field finds !
Was trying to get an eyelash viper out of a tree and found a coral snake about 6 inches from my foot.

Got a few pics of the sea snakes, and the eyelash but not the coral. I'll try and find them later.

The correct spelling is "dying" Not singling you out, it seems about half our members spell that wrong.
There is no such word as dieing.
On to the question, I find Garter snakes and milk snakes in the same hide spot and milks will eat a garter without hesitation. Yes I have pics....

Re: Weirdest field finds !
Ohh, and friday I was walking with a friend and saw a 15-20 pound snapping turtle sunning itself on a log... the odd thing was it walked allong the log till it got to the end and it was almost 3 feet off the water.

Why is that? I thought that most, if not all, snakes like warm foods..

IT was a turtle, and it was odd to see it that high up.

Re: Weirdest field finds !
I saw a garter snake sunning itself up on a tree once, but had no camera at the time.
