Talking Can you believe this? LOL

They are friends and they "hang out" when Loki has his free-roaming time.
Kitty has even started recently giving him kisses. (She licks when she is trying to be affectionate....)
We thought that they would always fight because when Loki was a baby (7 inches head to tail) he used to chase her around and try to bite her LOL, picture that LMAO!!!)
But now.. they are buds!

This is a very good time to give you all my cat/water dragon story...

When I was about 11(many moons ago), I had a similar situation where my cat and water dragon seemed to almost "enjoy" each others company, I used to have the dragon out all the time with the cat.

One day, I forgot to put the dragon back in its cage and went out to play street hockey......(stop reading here if you have a weak stomach)....

My mother yelled for me to come inside and when I did, I found half a water dragon still trying to hobble around, complete with guts hanging out...back limbs and tail no where to be found...

Sorry if this was a little graphic, but although it may seem cute at the time, be very, very careful. Remember, domestic cats are master predators...and a nice tender water dragon can easily be classified as prey.

Oh ya, the dragon did expire a short time later...but it did freak out an 11 year old herper for quite a while after the incident..

Chris

Cats are ambush predators and kill for fun. Id be very careful. The cat could be just scoping out the dragon and learning its vulnerabilities!! i dont trust cats at all, in fact they are probably one of the few animals i fear most!!

They will take over the world someday...

I think I figured out to make everyone happy (well at least me)!
Get a snake, one big enough to swallow the cat. set the snakes cage up beside the dragon and they can be friends and you wont have to worry about the damn cat anymore.
