Mickey, my first snake enjoying a meal

Here's a couple of quick shots of my 3 year old ij carpet enjoying a medium rat. I was wondering if I should give him 2 medium rats or step up to large. He seemed to be looking for more after eating this one. He is about 5.5 to 6 feet long and easily takes a medium rat every 7 days. Any thoughts??

you could put him up a larger food size but feed less frequent say a lagre or extra large rat every 3 to 4 weeks

i preffer to feed my adults larger less often rather than smaller often i feel they look in better shape on that diet
