Hello from southern alberta
Hi all, thought I would stop by as everyone else has and say hello. I have had a strange passion for snakes ever since I was about 10yrs old. I am hoping to one day have a breeding collection, but for now I own 3 snakes.
I currently have 2 Anery BCI's the male was born on oct 1st, 2009, and the female on may 1st 2010. They were both purchased from two seperate breeders.
I also recently purchased a Female Jungle Carpet Python, I am hoping to find her a man here in the near future. She was born approx. on jan 1st, 2008.
The two boa's names are Shady, and Monique.
The jungle carpet python's name is Destiny, because I stumbled across her unintentionally.
Here are some pictures! I know everyone likes pics

Re: Hello from southern alberta
I don't think anyone here would find your passion for snakes strange.. we all are "strange" that way..

Beautiful snakes. It looks like one has some sort of treaded bottom to their cage. I have to ask...what is it? It is the second picture.

Hi, that stuff is called Connect-A-Mat. I got it from canadian tire I think. They are interlocking anti-fatigue squares.
Its made out of Ethylene Vinyle Acetate
I tried searching for the the EVA but too much stuff came up on google, when I originally took it out of the packaging it smelt of rubber, but that went away after a few hours.
