snakesRkewl
Hi all,
New to this forums and thought I'd say hi with a few of my friends
I'm into making some awesome ball combos and I do the same with rats.
I breed and sell pet rats locally and hopefully nobody minds some pictures of rats too as I love to show them off
770 gram firefly female found on craigslist of all places!
My ratty's are close to show quality with some making the grade for showing but I have no real desire to show them just to make them and spread the love...
Thanks for looking...Jerry

Re: snakesRkewl
Hello and welcome to the forum. We have a few rat lovers here, i breed my own as well but never thought of showing any. I have had some pretty lavender long haired rats ( i think thats what they are called ).

Re: snakesRkewl
Thanks for the welcome!
I don't show rats but do enjoy making some kick butt pets
I've got some quality snake pairings going this season, should be exciting.

Re: snakesRkewl
Oh wow, beautiful BP, and I looove those last two rats~ The black one reminds me alot of the baby rat I had named Bootsie. She bled profusely from the nose and ended up dying. I think she had some kind of plasma disease common in completely black rats. :c Poor girl </3
At any rate, welcome to the forums, hope you enjoy your time here
By the way, is the black one a rex coated one? And is the second to last a(I think it's called...) Himalayan Point? Either it's Himalayan or Siamese.

Hmm, not one I'm familiar with.
I breed black selfs(all one color) and have never had any bleeding issues, I'll have to read up on that if I can find any info out there.

Actually that ratty is a Velveteen coat, similar to rex and compatible with rex, but the coat is crinkled
instead of curly

It's a Seal point Siamese.
Himalayan is created with a copy of the albino gene and a copy of the Siamese gene matching up together.
Siamese is creamy in color and Himalayan is white.

Re: snakesRkewl
Ahh c: very nice~ I heard of the plasma thing from a Vet care game I played when I was 9 or 10. I think it did use real things, but I could be wrong. All I know is she was bleeding from the nose and died within 5 - 10 hours. :c She was the cutest little rat I owned besides Daisy(black hooded)
I wouldn't mind having a Russian Silver or Russian Blue, maybe with a rex coat. Never knew about Velveteen coats, but that'd be nice too~
Also love Hairless rats.
Edit:... You know what.. My Champagne hooded died last month... so I have a 3 ft. high, 2 ft. wide. 2.5 ft. long cage available... and there's ads for hairless rats ranging for $5 - $10 dollars and food is only $2 - $4 dollars per month.. I may just get me a hairless or two~ I see an ad in Columbus, Ohio for hairless dumbo rats.

Thanks!
True hairless rats are not something I care much for, but a double rex patchwork that regrows their hair in funky patterns, oh yeah...
Double rex adult dwarf male as big as he got
