problem posting

hi i was triing to post pics on this forum but it kept saying my pic was an invalid file type even thought it was jpeg i even tried changing it to bmp but it was to large to post wy would it say my jpeg was a file type that was not supported

Hey man I had the same prob just now, try this it worked for me:
upload your pic into the galleries, once its there right click and go to properties, copy the url, then go to your post and type [img ] then paste it here with no spaces after the brackets and no spaces in the brackets and then type [/img]

thanks ill try that but it would be nice if i could post in formats that it says i can post in does the pic i post have to be in the gallery first?

IM pretty sure cause you need the URL I posted it in galleries and then it worked no prob
that jpeg thing was drivig me crazy too

I just wrote this for hondofreak so here you go...

1. up load you picture to the gallery (which you did )
2. right click on the full size picture and choose properties.
3. highlight the url and copy it by pressing ctrl and c
4. come to the forums and start your new thread
5. press the IMG button inthe vB Code section
6. paste your picture's url in the window that pops up by pressing ctrl and v
7. press ok and make your comments as you normally would and then submit your thread and there you go
