Re: yellow anaconda

Chuck (marvelfreak) and I believe ammeratsu both have riveting examples of yellow anaconda.

They should be on later today to give you some hints. Good luck and pre-congrats! (I can't wait to see pics....I think yellow anacondas are amazing snakes!)

Thanks! My BP has a skull in his pattern, although my avatar pic doesn't do it justice.

Here's marvelfreak's thread on his yellow anaconda:

And here are a couple threads by Ammeratsu with his yellow anaconda:

Have fun!

The only smell i found is when they poop it kind of musky, but know where as bad as my Borneo's poop.
Males get between 4.5 feet to around 8. Know where near as big as female which can top out at 14 feet.
Heat low 73 high 87. some say higher, but when my hot side was 92 like they say he never went to that side so i lower it a bit.
Humidity = i mist to get it up to 89-90% then let it get down to around 60-65%.
I use reptile bark it really helps keep the humidity up and use can wash it and reuse over and over saving you money. It tells right on the bag how to do it.
cage size = i started with a 32 quart tub, but quickly move him up to a 106 quart tub.(wal-mart for $9.00) Adult size any where from a minimum 4x2x2 or bigger depending on the snake.
Any other question just ask.
