new to the forum

Hello all, I'm new to this forum, but not entirely new to herp forums (was a member of the Edmonton herp society).

Not sure what to tell you all about myself, except that my daughter wanted corn snakes for her birthday when she was 5. Within weeks a good friend of mine who was also a snake breeder offered me some baby corns! The timing couldn't have been better! So my kids got her wish and I found myself delighted as well, having always wanted to have snakes (my own mother wouldn't have anything to do with them when I was a kid!) I found myself becoming rather fond of them, and even performed with them as a part of my dance pieces a few times, once they'd gotten used to hearing/feeling my music and getting used to being on my body even while moving around a bunch!

Know I'm in a situation where I can no longer care for them, and it breaks my heart to let them go. I joined the forum to find advice from decent, snake-loving folks on how best to assure that they wind up in a good home or reputable pet store, and also assure that I am asking a reasonable amount for them. They are currently in my brother's care in Toronto. He likes them a lot too, but his new wife isn't so keen....

Re: new to the forum

Hello and welcome to the forum. I would look for local herpers in your area as that way you can meet the people who will own your snakes.
