Yes Shaun your right again, a big dream of mine is to get to that great herping continent. I am sure i am not alone on this forum, as so many of us keep aussie herps and to see them in their native country would be heart warming... in the meantime forums such as this where we can share information with people from the USA, Canada, New Zealand, Austrilia and others means we have a wealth of help and information at our fingertips.... It would be something if we all met up someday, or sometime, we are all brothers and sisters in this hobby of ours.

Not like you to slip up my friend, but we have three
The grass snake
The adder
And the smooth snake, which is the one you can be forgivern for forgetting as these are only found down south a long way from your home.I have been fortunate in having experienced all these animals, infact is was the humble grass snake that got me started in the hobby.
Adders i used to seek out and observe at hamsterly forrest, smaller than you imagine, and quite facinating, i was lucky enough to see them breeding in the wild, and the smooth snake which is smooth scaled unlike the other two which are keeled down in poole area Dorset.
