feeding my Gonda
i feed my 4ft corn 4 adult mice a month but i want to reduce the frequency of feeds to 2 a month is this a good idea and ive thought of bumping her up to a rat but even young rats look to big for her head. i cant decide what to do

Re: feeding my Gonda
My corn sometimes gets very small weanling rats, But mostly since mice are a better size for him, I usually just give him the mice.

Re: feeding my Gonda
Our adult corn eats a large mouse every fortnight, seems to maintain her weight and condition with no problem.

What is a fortnight? At that size twice a month is just fine. You could try rat pinkies or fuzzies. A rat fuzzie is about the same size of a adult mice. Rat are better two because they have least fat than mice.

Re: feeding my Gonda
Hehehe a fortnight is what us limeys call two weeks. She gets the mouse every two weeks. And yes when you see the snakes head and the size of mouse you think no chance but she wolfs it down everytime
