some-one please help me

heys guys im a little worried... my chemeleon 'cumma' fell from his branch the other day and hasnt been the same he has no life in him an also has a pink thing sticking out the end of his rectum i am very worried an dont know any vets that deal with this sort of thing... ive had him nerly a year now...some-one please give me some advice i dont want to lose him but i think its to late to be honest he just has no life in him anymore

The pink thing sticking out is most likely a prolapsed bowel. I would get him to a vet immediately, and in the meantime place him on moist paper towel. You have to keep the prolapsed tissue moist or it will die and then it is next to impossible to correct on an animal as small as a cham. Best of luck with the little guy. I know some people have tried to reinsert prolapsed tissue, but I've only read on it being done with arboreal snakes, not lizards.

call any vet asap they might know of another vet that can help you, i know with snake you can use water and suger. good luck

With lizards you can mix water with sugar also. Best thing you can do is get to a vet asap, but in the meantime do multiple soakings in sugar water every day and keep him off any loose substrate. Don't let the prolapse get dry so moist paper towels is a good idea like willow said.
