regualar jaguar thread
hi boys and girls,
as ive mentioned in my introduction post, i have approx. year old regular jaguar (mcdowelli parents (thats all the info i have)), and would like to know how big do they get? i know mcdowellis should be the biggest, but ive heard that jaguars usually stay smaller...this one is a female and is around 100cm, and im really curious what will it transform to when it gets older...

Yeah 9 to 10 feet for females. Little smaller for males.

coastal females in captivity have been known to reach 10 feet.in saying that i have a pure coastal jaguar and he's only just over 5 feet at 4 years old.have you got any pictures of your jaguar please.

i know mcdowellis grow the largest, even read about 13 foot male from ireland, but as shaun says his adult is just over 5 feet, and thats what i heard so im asking to see peoples experiences...
i got just few crappy pics, first one was to see is she really in that hole or what (unprotected hole in terarium where she went the first night and i had troubles getting her out), and the other on is my friend holding her...
and here is the link to the pic that my friend (previous owner) took to show me the snake...
