Hi all:
When i was 9 years old I was an avid snake hunter. One day I flipped over a large piece of corrugated tin in my favorite cow pasture. Seeing a flash of movement I grabbed what I thought was a milk snake and whammo, I was bitten by my first ever copperhead juvenile. I had the presence of mind to bag the snake and took it along to the ER where I was lucky and received anti-venin. Right then and there I decided to study snakes so I never made that mistake again and here I am 50 years later, retired and have turned my hobby/passion into a small supplemental income by breeding snakes. My latest fascination is with D’alberts White lipped Pythons. I am breeding Corns, red tail and arboreal boas as well as retics. Give me a shout anytime.

Re: Hi all:
White-lippeds are beautiful pythons. I have a pair myself and they are awesome. Mine are handleable, but I wouldn't call them tame. They are feisty and I get tagged sometimes. They are calming down over time though. Gorgeous snakes!

Hello Jess
Nice to meet you. I am glad I fouind it too. I was also bitten by a cobra- but that's another story. I have 2.1 Colored Amazon Trees and 1.1 Chondro Jaya's. I had a new clutch of WLPs sexed at the vets today and ended up with 4.4. I will post som pics if I can figure out how to do it. I got tagged Sunday my my 6 ft male gtp. Have to go for an MRI because I pulled a 1/4 inch toothe out and he hit the tendon going to mt thumb. Damn.. Just my luck.

Re: Hi all:
Wow, dmflanders, gorgeous WLPs and GTPs! Some of my favorite pythons too. How are your white-lippeds temper-wise? My pair is not too bad but they're touchy.

Re: Hi all:
So, uh, wanna be best friends? Hahahaha. You pretty much have my dream snakes right there. The photos of the WLP are great. Very nice. And bitten by a cobra too? What species?
