burmese genetics question

I have the following pair of burmese pythons
Male: Albino het Granite/Green
Female: Normal Het Albino/granite 50%poss het green

So I can work it out and figure the odds of what all will be in it. But how do I tell visually if its a albino green granite?

Re: burmese genetics question

I remember being on another forum and someone did that a pairing with the same burm genetics. They had an albino, green/granite come out of the clutch. You'll know when you see it, it's pretty much a mix of the two patterns.

Otherwise, if you don't notice any difference, you will only find out by doing a breeding trial.

Re: burmese genetics question

I wondered from what I found you can tell a green albino and you can tell a granite albino. But I was told a normal green/granite had the green coloring and the granite markings. So that lead me to wonder how in the world you would tell a albino green/granite... Thnx for the info Aaron S

Re: burmese genetics question

It was only two snakes out of the entire clutch that were green/granite and an albino green/granite. You never know really, I think you'd have to pick out some "lookers" and then go from there with possible breeding trials.

Re: burmese genetics question

Probably the only way! Especially with one only being 50% poss het for green. But hey that gives me something to do for the next 7 or 8 years lol... Really its albino Granites that I want. I like greens but not sure that I care for the pictures of albino greens Ive seen.
