New male GTP!
I just got my male Biak croiss GTP in. He's monstrous- 851g and over 5 feet long! Gorgeous high yellow and blues. I'm sorry these aren't the best pictures, they were taken with my phone. I will get some better ones soon. Any suggestions for a name for him? I was thinking Lucifer, but it doesnt' really fit his temperament. He's handleable right out of the bag.

Re: New male GTP!
Jess, here's the better pics. I got the good camera out tonight, and man, is he the photogenic type! He's got the coolest big eyes and tall nose, and he looks right into the camera...lol. He was perfectly handleable, not a sign of aggression, and he is HUGE! His head is easily twice the size of my female's and she's a good 4 feet long. I'm really stuck on a name though- I don't want to go with Lucifer or Diablo or anything I thought of before I actually held him. He's too calm and inquisitive and those big goofy eyes..lol.

Re: New male GTP!
My girl is Mystique. He does kind of look like Kah- with those big cartoonish eyes..lol. I'm just happy he's as docile as he is. His head is so big, I'd hate to be bitten by him.

Re: New male GTP!
I picked him up today- I've been away since Friday and my fiance was home with the snakes- and when I picked him up he hissed and bubbles came out of his mouth. But I didn't hear any more wheezing, just that first set of bubbles when he hissed the first time. Should I be concerned about an RI? There's no open mouth breathing, no wheezing (you can hear him only if you strain really hard) and no bubbling from the nostrils. I figure I'll keep a very close eye on him and see if he eats tomorrow when I feed everyone. I don't know him well enough yet to go prying his mouth open to look in it if I'm not sure it's necessary. What do you guys think? His temp is about 85 hot end with 70% humidity.
