I have been calling the local hardware stores to try and figure out what kind of caulking to use in my crested gecko vivarium, but every time I ask if its nontoxic they don't have a clue. can some one please help me?

Re: caulking????

Latex should be the best.

However, any sealant, once it has cured, will be okay. Case in point - have you ever smelled fresh Aquarium sealant (Silicone)? STRONG odor, you would think that it would kill any fish that were kept in that stuff.

I always just use Latex window/door caulk if I am seaing cracks in wood.
