I have been told a good spot to see rattler next spring/ summer arround salt lake city
I wanna take pictures of snakes in the wild.
As a rule of thumb, what is the minimum/safety distance I should keep between me and the snakes?
It is about not getting bitten and not bothering the snakes.
I've done this alot and I would say there is no particular rule of thumb. Where you from? I live in Salt Lake. Mostly you'll see basins this far north, and trust me, they are extremely durable, wouldn't worry too much about bothering them. Just my 2 cents. Have fun!
Thanks Roger,
As you can see in my profile, I live in Saratoga Springs, 45 min south of SLC.
I would be greatfull if you could MP me next time you go on the field, I could learn a lot from you
I actually don't get out on my own anymore, had a bit of a falling out with my friend I used to go with and haven't really found anyone else all that interested since. However, let me know if you go out. I could definately show you some cool spots depending on what you are trying to find.
