I noticed that the first cat did (at least playfully) swat at and try to gnaw on the tortoise. Wouldn't the tortoises limbs and especially its face or eyes get damaged by even the most playful affection from a cat?

This tortoise did seem fine though. I liked how it went after the cat with its mouth open.
