Re: I have 2 Green Iguana's with mites!
Reptile relief. That and some Provent-a-mite.
I treated the animals directly with the RR and the structure (and NEW substrate), all of the furniture with the PAM (not the cooking crap).
Gone in one two hour session. Great stuff.

Re: I have 2 Green Iguana's with mites!
http://www.albertareptilesociety.org/caresheets/nix.pdf link to treatment details for NIX. I have only used it with snakes though, might not be as safe to use with Iggys? Might want to check with some lizard folks & see what they say. Mark

Re: I have 2 Green Iguana's with mites!
Yes there are other reptiles mites besides snake mites. Snake mites are "host specific" meaning they only feed on snakes. There are others though that will feed not only on snakes but other reptiles as well. Yippee eh Mark

Everything I've read says that Snake mites will infect any type of reptile; they're just called snake mites because they most commonly infect snakes.

Nope if they are true "snake mites" they are host specific to snakes. There are however other types of reptile mites that have no discretion to such though that will infect snakes as well as any other reptile. Mark

The link to all the instructions was already posted in this thread, but here it is again. http://www.albertareptilesociety.org/caresheets/nix.pdf Mark
P.S. it is a 2 oz (56 ml) bottle to 1 gallon of distilled water. Regular water can be used but distilled is better & gives it a longer shelf life. Must be cooled in a cool dark place as to not "break down" the active ingredient.

Re: I have 2 Green Iguana's with mites!
