Rubbermaid/Strelite Containers

Just wanted to find out what type people use and product number if you know it, plus the sizes for each stage of animal that you have. Thanks in advance for infor guys.

There are only two occasions where I use rubbermaids or rack systems.

1. Hatchlings that I'm planning on selling after a couple of meals. In my case they're hatchling Spotted Pythons and I'm using Sterilite #1851 6 Qt/5.7 L tubs. Here's a pic (be kind, it was my first time building ANYTHING lol):

2. For quarantine purposes. I had a BCI that was regurging and wasn't doing well. So in order to get him away from the rest of the collection, I sent him up in a rubbermaid in another room.

I use rubbermaids in racks for all my ball pythons (over 110) and have since I began. I have never run into a problem and recommend it to anyone. I use the Rubbermaid #2220's for hatchlings up to 600g and then they go into a Rubbermaid #2221 for the rest of their lives.

Do you not find the 2221 rather small for a full grown adult male or female? The dimensions are only 22 by 16 inches. Personally to me that seems rather small to house something that is around 2000-3000 grams. Does it even have a water dish big enought o submerge in? Not trying to start an arguement or anything, and maybe I read the dimensions wrong, hopefully I did.

They are large enough for a large dish for soaking. I have balls up to 3500g in there and they seem to be doing fine, or have been good for the last 7 years.

What does it matter what kind of material the enclosure is made of? A cage is still a cage in the end.
