Question Strange Shed

It was not really so much a strange shed, the shed came off perfect. I tried to feed my little guy night before last and as I was taking him out I noticed his eyes where just starting to blue ever so slightly so I put him back in and misted the cage and got the humidity a bit higher than normal thinking he was just starting his shed, the belly and skin looked the same as he has since his last shed came off so figured he was just starting, so boy was I surprised to find a pefect shed in the cage the next morning, and wow what buitifull colours now. He is only a few months old about 300 grams, just wondering if this is normal or what.

Re: Strange Shed

I don't understand what you're asking. Are you asking that because he didn't quite blue over for a few days if it's normal? I would say yes it's normal. He shed fine so I wouldn't be worried about it. Just make sure the eye caps and tip of the tail came off.

Re: Strange Shed

They start off looking a little dull to begin with & then go into total blue for a day or so & then start looking almost normal again just a little dull then they shed. You likely missed the full blue & thought the cycle was just starting when it actually was just about to end (shed). Mark
